What Our Customers are Asking
Frequently Asked Questions
How does CoveRx work?
CoveRx is a flexible pharmacy service that delivers your medications directly to your door. After completing a quick online intake, your information is reviewed by a licensed provider, and your prescriptions are filled and shipped each month. No insurance required.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. We’re committed to transparent pricing. All add-ons and medication costs are shared with you before billing.
What is CoveCare Partners?
CoveCare Partners is a collaborative group of healthcare companies working together to deliver a seamless care experience for our patients. Each entity within CoveCare Partners plays a specific role—whether clinical, pharmaceutical, or operational—to ensure you receive the right treatment, at the right time, from the right provider.
This integrated approach allows us to coordinate your care across multiple touchpoints, whether it's a virtual provider consultation, prescription fulfillment, lab review, or specialty service like hormone therapy or medical weight loss.
Think of CoveCare Partners as the ecosystem that powers your personalized treatment plan—from intake to delivery.
Why is my provider visit through Atlantic Cove Medical Group?
CoveRx is powered by CoveCare Partners. Provider evaluations are conducted by licensed professionals through our partner, Atlantic Cove Medical Group, while CoveRx handles your pharmacy needs. Together, we deliver seamless, affordable care.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. At CoveRx, we don’t lock you into subscriptions or store your payment information. Everything is flexible and month-to-month. Each month, you decide whether you’d like to purchase your medication.
If you want to pause or skip a month, simply don’t make a payment; no notice is required. We’ll send gentle reminders, but you’ll never be charged unless you choose to place an order.
How do GLP-1 medications like semaglutide work with this website?
Patients begin by completing the online intake form and checking out for their Medical Consultation. Our intake team reviews the information and confirms the appointment. During the telehealth visit, a licensed medical provider will evaluate your health and determine if a GLP-1 medication such as semaglutide is appropriate. If approved, you’ll receive a prescription and a unique authorization code. You’ll then return to our website, select either the compounded or brand-name medication, enter your code at checkout, and complete your purchase. Your medication will be shipped directly to your home.
What if I need birth control, asthma medication, or diabetes management?
Many common medications—including those for birth control, asthma, high blood sugar, and other chronic conditions—are available through CoveRx. Your provider will determine eligibility based on your intake.
Do I need to see a doctor in person?
No. All evaluations are conducted virtually by licensed providers. No in-person visits are required.
How does Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) work?
HRT is offered as an à la carte service. A provider consult and lab review are required at one of our Cove Care Partners locations. Monthly medications and follow-ups are available as needed.
What if I can’t afford a GLP-1 medication right away?
We understand that specialty medications like GLP-1s can be a financial burden. That’s why we offer extended payment options through Afterpay, a third-party platform. Approval is based on your creditworthiness and is determined solely by Afterpay—not by our healthcare providers. If cost is a concern, reach out to our care team and we’ll help guide you through your options.
Will I need to submit lab work or medical records?
Possibly. Depending on your intake responses, a provider may require lab results or past medical records before prescribing or continuing treatment. This determination is made solely at the provider’s discretion.
All CoveRx providers have a fiduciary responsibility to act in the best interest of their patients. While our subscription model simplifies access and affordability, it does not override clinical judgment or professional standards of care.
If additional information is needed, our care team will clearly communicate the next steps. This may cause slight delays in processing, but it ensures safe, ethical, and compliant care for every patient.
